Baton of Hope – your chance to get involved

The Baton of Hope is coming to Derby/Derbyshire on 13th September 2025, carried by those bereaved and affected by suicide. To support the event, Baton of Hope are looking for activities, info/support stalls, music, entertainment and volunteers and more to make the day as impactful as possible at one of the pre events before the main event.

Alzheimer's Society

Do you care for someone who is concerned about their memory or has been diagnosed with dementia? The Alzheimer’s Society is hosting several online information sessions to help carers access support and advice:

Thursday 3rd April Equipment at home

Thursday 17th April Living well as a carer

The sessions are on Zoom and run from 5.30pm to 7pm. You can just listen in or ask as many questions as you’d like.
