Firefighter Have a Go Sessions 2025

Are you interested in becoming a firefighter? Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service hold Ha a Go sessions where you can:

• Have a go at some of the activities involved in the role of a firefighter
• Discover more about this diverse role a firefighter
• Find out about the recruitment process

Free Air Fryer courses starting in September up until Christmas

Chesterfield Equality & Diversity Forum event 6th October 2025 Town Hall

The day will consist of two sessions:

1. Equality and Diversity training in the morning, facilitated by Marita Wood and Liz Allam from Ashgate Hospice. Poster
2. A motivational presentation by Deniz ‘Skip’ Önaç in the afternoon, focussing on his experiences combatting racism. Poster

Attendees are welcome to attend the morning session, afternoon session or both. Places are limited so if you make a booking and then can unfortunately no longer make the event please let me know as soon as possible so that the place can be allocated again. Your place will be confirmed by email.
